Welcome to Caroline's Corner in Cyberspace Minimize

David Byrne sings the songs of Brian Eno at the National Concert Hall Dublin April 6th 2009Well I've reluctantly removed Tom Waits from my homepage; all good things must end and Tom has been and gone for months. So I've relegated him to a new section on my website "Best of 2008"; I just couldn't delete him!

Never mind, 2009 looks set to be another good music year for me, as my other favourite musician David Byrne is on tour. David performs live at Dublin's National Concert Hall on Monday 6th April. He is on tour promoting his new album "Everything That Happens, Will Happen Today". David made a free track available when the album was announced last year and I downloaded the track straight away. Shortly after I downloaded the entire album, again the minute it was released. I've since purchased the hard copy version and it turned up in the post in a fabulous tin box complete with lyrics and pill. The pill is for indigestion .... hmmm what does that mean? The songs and music are excellent, as you would expect for David & Brian Eno. I can't wait to see David perform live in Dublin plus the National Concert Hall is an excellent venue so the sound will be pristine. Overall, I'd say it's been a good start to the New Year.

Slán go fóill (bye for now). Caroline
